Each of the 5 feathers has an acrylic colored viewing window. You can "see the world in different colors" by placing the windows up to your eyes, either for single colors, or pull 2 or more feathers together to make even more colors! A great toy for children to learn about colors and color mixing.
We also love to play with the colored feathers in a sunny window or with my phone's flashlight. Position the feather in the light and enjoy the colorful shadows! You can mix colors this way as well. Be sure to verbalize the colors as you play if your child is working on vocal communication.
